Nnamdi Kanu, Leader if the Pro-Secession group has been dismissed from leading the group on the account of diverting of funds.
According to Vanguard, who reported Radio Biafra in its publication on Friday said that Nnamdi Kanu has been replaced by Ezenwachukwu Samson Okwudili.
The report also stated that Kanu had misappropriated the Biafra funds when he diverted the sum of £14 million and £22 million for personal gains.
Quoting the Biafra Radio, the report said
“Kanu privately collected £14 million and another $22 million to purchase landed properties abroad in his name and that of his father, Mr. Igwe Israel Kanu, in a clear case of monkey dey work baboon dey chop,’’
“Kanu turned our collective struggle into a money-making enterprise for himself and his father.”
Kanu has also lost his place as the Director of the pirate radio of Biafra which recently just got back to broadcasting.
Nnamdi Kanu had been reported to have fled the Abia State after his residence was raided by the military months back.
Kanu was also accused of inducing IPOB members into violence which led to the death of innocent lives in areas like Ava, Umuahia and Onitsha.
His action were considered “totally unacceptable and grossly irresponsible’’. “Thus the monies contributed by enterprising and hard-working Igbo youths across the world are being collected and converted by one man and his father while pretending to be sacrificing for the cause.’’
